Install as non-root

Hi,

Sorry for the lame question, but i am new to Subversion although i'm a
long time CVS user.

I need to install Subversion as non-root.
This is due to my company's policy: i'm not root at the server,but i
have to deal with it.
Right now i have to install Subversion with a regular account.

How can i do that ?

Any help would be appreciated.
