Subversion users were recently asked whether they would like to have
1.5 released now with what has been developed thus far, or wait 6
months for 1.5 including merge tracking:

Many have responded casting their votes for one or the other, but I
have not yet seen a final message from the developers saying "thank
you for your votes, here's the tally, here's what we're going to do."

So, depending on whether the developers decide to wait to include
merge tracking or not, you can either expect 1.5 "now" (within a
month, I'd guess) or in 6 months.
