Trac started with sqlite, then added support for Postgres next. MySQL is
a bit of a latecomer, and maybe not as mature in it's implementation (in
trac) as the other 2. We use Postgres here, and are fairly happy.
We also use Python 2.3.4 (required by SLES9), and it is OK. There have 1
or 2 compatibility issues with the trac development code, but generally
fixed fairly quickly.
