Subject: Can't open '.svn\tmp\tempfile.tmp': The system cannot find the file specified.

Running a "Windows XP" client against a "Windows 2003 Server" Server, both 1.4.2, I see the following error on two machines:

Running on w:, which is a linux server serving files over samba

W:\mediator>svn merge -r 8:40 http://svn/svn/java/mediator/trunk

Skipped missing target: 'upgrade.zip' ... ( and two other missed targets)

svn: Could not save file

svn: Can't open '.svn\tmp\tempfile.tmp': The system cannot find the file specified.

It looks like there was no write permission for the current user in the directory. Did you create the workspace with an other user ?

Try to create a file in W:\mediator\.svn\tmp, does it work ?
