Cannot write to the prototype revision

Hi all-

All of a sudden I can't import into my repository; I get:

C:\toolbox\svn> svn import subversive
http://myrepository.com/svn/c++/test-m "Initial put"

Adding test\fun.h
svn: Cannot write to the prototype revision file of transaction '47-1'
because a previous representation is currently being written by this process

I googled this message but didn't find anything that explains what it is and
what to do about it. I've tried from both the command line and TortoiseSVN
so I'm presuming it's the server that's generating this message. The
repository is remote so I can't get at the machine to do anything. Is there
anything I can do at the client level?

Thanks,

Ron
