changing svnsync source rep

Hi Folks,

can anybody tell me if it's possible to change the source destination of a
svnsync'd repository?
My intention is to do the initial first sync with svnsync against a
hotcopy of a repository and then change the url afterwards to the real
repository.
The main problem is, that we've a couple of very large repositories and it
simply takes much to long to do the initial sync over network with
"normal" svnsync. Doing a periodically incremental hotcopy isn't my
preferred way as I want to do all operations on the mirror to keep the
mirror-repositories synced rather than doing something on the main system
and copy it to the mirror.

Any hint appreciated.

Regards
Markus
