I don't like these either, but according to my reading of
http://subversion.tigris.org/mailing-list-guidelines.html , there's no
official (or implied) rule against posting from accounts that append
this kind of crud. Perhaps something should be added there one way or
the other, to prevent this off-topic discussion in the future?

I can't say I know what the solution to the problem of stupid
robo-disclaimers is, but I'm pretty sure that when its found, it won't
involve harassing the victims. I can certainly understand your desire to
vent about it though.
