Erik, I don't think that I should have to justify the email addresses
that I use. I posted from an email address that is convenient for me to
monitor for replies. I didn't realize that it was inconveniencing
everyone on the mailing list (even though it seems that you are the only
one that is bothered by my post). Please choose to ignore emails that
vex you instead of whining about silly things in public posts.

You don't control the e-mail address you post from? Seriously, I work
for a big company too (NYSE traded) and they add these disclaimers
too. I try not to use their mail system for outgoing mail.

Evil as in big NYSE traded? Or as in 'adds disclaimers too'? I didn't
use either word in my mail.
