linux + subversion

Hello,
this is the first time I write in this ML, so .. aplogize if I'm
writing to the wrong one!

I installed subversion on a debian system using aptitude with DAV. The
version was the 1.1.4, so i decided to upgrade to the 1.3 in the
testing distribution. Now It looks that the correct version is
installed ('aptitude show subversion' tells it's the 1.3.2-5+b1), but
when I navigate the subversion tree with mozilla I see the writing
"Powered by Subversion version 1.1.4" in the page.

So, how can I be sure about the version? How can I read the installed
version from command line (something like: svn -version)?

I have to be sure I've installed the correct version before I start
with the REAL questions ;)

Thanks
