The well known organizations that I have trained or consulted at that
are using Subversion include:

The World Bank
NOAA - National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
DHL Global Mail - division of DHL
Sony Imageworks - special effects house

Those should be big enough names :)

Subversion has definitely reached the point where it's not a risky
decision to take for an individual in a corporation to recommend
moving to Subversion. Some of these
