Hi Kruno,

I believe this has been covered before. The client and server modules for
Subversion are essentially the same. There is no need to create separate
packages for each.

Your first stop after reading this should be the Subversion book site:
http://svnbook.red-bean.com The book covers the various possible
installation methods. That information should help you choose which server
"installation" is the right fit for your needs.

I agree that I would like to see a larger variety of SVN binaries available.
We had to "roll our own" for AIX. The problem is that Subversion is an
open-source project. Binaries are built by volunteers and I don't think many
people have a spare UNIX server sitting in a closet at home.
