Brad,
I have fixed this now.
I made Trac use python 2.3, so that I can use Davids rpm's.
To build the phthon swig files I took the source version of subversion,
and built this part only, and installed it. I am therefore using a
hybrid rpm/non-rpm installation :-)
Thanks for your help.
Tim

Brad,
Thanks.
I haven't solved it yet, but the problem appears to be caused because
Trac is using python 2.4 and the subversion packages are using python
2.3.
When I had similar/same issue before I managed to fix it by copying
files from the site-packages directory for one python version to the
other.
I agree that if I build from source this will solve the issue, but I am
hoping I can resolve without doing this. I have asked David if he runs
'make py-swig' etc. when he creates the rpm packages. If he did, then
the files needed would be included in the packages I am using.
Thanks,
Tim
