I can not assure you that trac has the specific capability you describe in this last reply. From the wording of the original query below, I
thought that trac's "milestones" might provide the functionality you're looking for. I still think there's at least a possibility that
trac might fill your needs (though I can't speak definitively about what's exactly available, as the trac installation(s) I'm currently
using are not the latest stable release).
