RE: reverting a committed revision

Would this also work when there is a requirement to 'rollback' an entire
working directory to a previous revision ? i.e

svn merge -r 8109:8099http://path/to/trunk/rep rep

This appears to work - at least it does *something*. However, I would
like 'svn info' to return the number of the rolled back revision post
merge (so that I can be sure what revision I now have in the working
directory), so

svn info revision=8109
merge
svn info revision=8099
