Thanks for posting this somewhere. It will help for others to at least
have something that Google will pick up on. I'll give your script a try on
my backup of my corrupted repo to see whether it works for me.

I've since, however, done the 'export/load' method of recreating my
repository. But I still have the corrupted one. Interestingly I'm running
SVN on Windows (one of the things noted by Malcome was that he thought it
may only happen on non-Windows systems).
