Error in svn

Hi,

I have a problem with my svn server. When I add files and commit them, I get
a really strange error in ToroiseSVN:
Error: Can't convert string from native encoding to 'UTF-8':
Error: 8?\144 ?\248?\245
?\128
Error: <?\144 P?\234

Nice, isn't it? ;-)

When I try to svn directly from the server, I get this:
svn: XML parser failed in '.'
svn: Bogus date

Does anyone know how this comes and how I can fix this?

Regards,
Philip
