RE: mod_dav_svn/mod_authz_svn - SVN1.3.1 + Apache2.2.2

Thanks for the clarification Garrett,

I've just chased down the latest sources for the Apache APR, these
include:
APR 1.2.7, APR-util 1.2.7 and APR iconv 1.1.1 - if I replace the 0.9.7
versions included in the Subversion 1.3.1 windows source archive will I
be happily compiling a workable Subversion 1.3.1 or will the whole thing
fall over in a horrible heap...

Just wondering if I should save myself the trouble? I'm a very new
starter to compiling my own binary stuff...

Additionally, Jostein? (If my compilation falls over in a heap) How long
will I be waiting for the Subversion windows binary to be updated with
Apache2.2.2 compatible APR's, are these planned any time soon?

Cheers,

Paul

It's simply that 2.0 and 2.2 are not binary compatible. You can
either build for one or the other, not both. For backwards
compatibility reasons we still build against the older version, but
you're more than welcome to build your own version against a newer
version of Apache.
