This is why the ghods invented build environments and build wrappers, such
as a Makefile structure. By having Subversion store the *source* files, and
having make both integrate local configurations and writing good
dependencies, it should be possible to ease the generation of TeX and LaTeX
files into whatever format, with whatever build options, as desired.
