"default" repository fs-type?

All

I'm using CYGWIN's subversion 1.3.0.

"svnadmin help create" says that the default repository type is FSFS, yet
Ben Collins-Sussman SVN book (rev 2118) says:

"In Subversion 1.0, a Berkeley DB repository is always created. In
Subversion 1.1, a Berkeley DB repository is the default repository type,
but an FSFS repository can be created using the --fs-type option:
$ svnadmin create /usr/local/svn/repos --fs-type fsfs"
Which is the 'truth'? Or to be more specific, how do I find out what type
of repository I have? I did not specify "--fs-type" when I created my
repositories.

Thx Attila
