Subject: 1.3.1 client with 1.1 server

I had been using the 1.3.0 client with a 1.1 server with no problem. After
upgrading to the 1.3.1 client. I would get errors trying to contact our
server (http://subversion <http://subversion/> or
http://subversion.appworx.com <http://subversion.appworx.com/> )
