Thanks Shawn and Chris,

The use case as well as methods/apps/practices that avoid the annoying
glitches that occur when users forget to update before committing or
move WC directories within the WC outside of subversion.

what i am trying to do is build in a policy here at the office that
shows the value of svn with our sales and policy docs (history,
reverting, survivability, etc) far outweigh the cost of learning a new
system. real life examples of companies making this decision are
helpful.

most of these sales guys will be on Win32 or OSX.
