RE: Bug report: Deleting a file and keeping the lock to it

From: John Hutchinson <john.hutchinson_at_fp.co.nz>
Date: 2006-02-16 04:59:38 CET

Further to the report I should mention that the original problem happened on
our real server which is a Sun box running SunOS 5.8:

tigger::/home/systems/hutchij(1%)>svn --version
svn, version 1.2.3 (r15833)
   compiled Oct 13 2005, 13:56:17

Copyright (C) 2000-2005 CollabNet.
Subversion is open source software, see http://subversion.tigris.org/
This product includes software developed by CollabNet
(http://www.Collab.Net/).

The following repository access (RA) modules are available:

* ra_dav : Module for accessing a repository via WebDAV (DeltaV) protocol.
  - handles 'http' scheme
* ra_svn : Module for accessing a repository using the svn network protocol.
  - handles 'svn' scheme
* ra_local : Module for accessing a repository on local disk.
  - handles 'file' scheme

We use Apache2 to access this.

Using an awk script one can reasonbly easily fix the problem with svnadmin
rmlocks...
