subversion, linux red hat 9

Hi,

I am trying to set up the apache / subversion server on a red hat 9.0 linux
system.

Installed the subversion, neon, apr and apr-util packages ok.
When I tried to install the subversion server package (that I assume
contains the
mod_dav_svn plugin), I get an error that it requires an updated apache.

Download the httpd-2.0.48-3.i386.rpm package but when I install this get the
following errors

error: Failed dependencies:
        httpd-mmn = 20020628 is needed by (installed) mod_perl-1.99_07-5
        httpd-mmn = 20020628 is needed by (installed) mod_python-3.0.1-3
        httpd-mmn = 20020628 is needed by (installed) mod_ssl-2.0.40-21
        httpd-mmn = 20020628 is needed by (installed) php-4.2.2-17
        httpd-mmn = 20020628 is needed by (installed)
mod_auth_pgsql-0.9.12-14
libapr.so.0 is needed by (installed) mod_perl-1.99_07-5
libaprutil.so.0 is needed by (installed) mod_perl-1.99_07-5

What is the httpd-mmn package. In case the above means (eg) perl depends on
the
current installed apache package, I tried upgrading perl

error: Failed dependencies:
        httpd-mmn = 20020903 is needed by mod_perl-1.99_09-10

I am stuck. Can someone please help?

Regards,

John Norris
