Q: checkout subdirectory but maintain parent directory structure

My current directory structure looks something like

trunk/dev/src/controlpath/system_mgmt/...

Basically, I want to checkout everything under the system_mgmt
subdirectory but maintain the /dev/src/controlpath parent directory
structure. Is that possible?
