New user to subversion, strange happening

I've just started to use subversion, I've got 1.2.3 installed. For some
reason, most of the files that I want to do a diff on (after committing small
revisions), the diff spits out information like this:

- Every
- Line
- From
- Prior
- Revision
+ Every
+ Line
+ From
+ Current
+ Revision

Essentially it seems as though it thought the entire file was different, when
indeed most every - and + line match except for a few changes that I made.

Am I doing something wrong?
