Problem: String conversion

From: Tim Steffens|expeer GmBH <steffens_at_expeer.de>

Hi!

I've got problems commiting changes to my SVN repository:

$ svn mv test test2
A test2
D test

$ svn ci
L?\195?\182sche trunk/test
Hinzuf?\195?\188gen trunk/test2
svn: ?\195?\156bertragen fehlgeschlagen (Details folgen):
svn: Can't convert string from native encoding to 'UTF-8':
svn: ?\168?\14?\240↑?\232?\247 ?\172?\14?\240♀P ♣
svn: Ihre Log-Meldung wurde in einer Tempor?\195?\164rdatei abgelegt:
svn: '/cygdrive/z/test/192.168.0.250/kickup/svn-commit.tmp'

The computer containing the repository runs Suse 9.1, the client runs
Windows 2000 SP 4.

Any idea !?!

thanks,

Tim

P.S.: I've read that setting the LC_CTYPE and LANG environment variables
should help, but this was not successfull ...
