Much to my horror, I have discovered that the problem has nothing to do
with svn recording history, but my inability to process what the manual is
telling me to do.
I can't believe I spent the last hour yelling at subversion, only to
discover mere minutes after sending the eMail that my head is firmly
embedded where the sun does not shine.
My mistake was assuming that an "svn log" in a specific directory would
like the logs for all changes in that directory. It appears, however, that
one must supply a specific file (or files) to do the log function on.
Argh.
Regrettably,
JP
