The only reason we are aware of for this to occur is that when
someone CC's you on messages to the list, you receive two extra
copies instead of the intended one extra copy, because someone from
the domain softwaredesign.it is subscribed to the list and is using a
broken mail server which is sending you the extra copy. See this

I thought the person had been kicked from the list, so that shouldn't
be happening anymore.

Do you receive three copies of this email? If so, check the headers
and see if softwaredesign.it appears in any of them, and if it
doesn't, then let's try to figure out what else is going on.
