Problem with HotCopy

From: Kahn, Peter <Peter.Kahn_at_ironmountain.com>

When I attempt a hotcopy on my repository, I am getting the following:
svnadmin: DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error, run database recovery
svnadmin: bdb: Logging region out of memory; you may need to
increase its size
svnadmin: bdb: Recovery function for LSN 19449 660328 failed
svnadmin: bdb: PANIC: Cannot allocate memory
svnadmin: bdb: PANIC: fatal region error detected; run recovery

Environment:
        svn, version 1.2.1 (r15230)
        Linux svn.englab.qa 2.6.12-1.1398_FC4smp #1 SMP Fri Jul 15 01:30:13
EDT 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
        BerkeleyDB 4.3

My repository is up and running, so I'm confused.
- I could take it down and run recovery
- I could modify my DB_CONFIG to give more memory to the logging
- I could clean up redundant logs

Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.
