Can't build subcommander - unresolved reference to svn_error_dup

Hi,

I am trying to build subcommander 0.13.0 on a fedora core 4 machine.
Managed to build and install subversion 1.2.3 ok, but building
subcommander failed with an unresolved reference to svn_error_dup. I saw
previous posting saying to hide the installed subversion libraries, but
this didn't work for me. Any ideas? Tia, phil b
