Svn update

I typically use TSvn to do most work, so I may be asking a stupid
question, but when I run "svn update" in my WC directory, I get the
message: "Skipped '.'". I'm not really sure why this is happening, but
I've looked online and I'm not getting anything back on how to get
around it. I've tried it with no params, the WC directory, and the repo
URL. None have worked. Any ideas? I'm sure it's something really stupid.
