Could not read chunk size: Secure connection truncated

Please help!! There is a server on which it is established subversion (the
version 1.2.3-r2 on Gentoo Linux). At attempt to make checkout clients (it is
used tortoiseSVN versions from 1.1.7 up to 1.2.4 on Windows) have a following
message:

svn: REPORT request failed on '/svn/bp/!svn/vcc/default'
svn: REPORT of '/svn/bp/!svn/vcc/default': Could not read chunk size: Secure
connection truncated (https://svn.company.com)

How it is possible to solve this a problem? Thankful in advance for the answer
