Issue with password character?

Hi,

There seems to be a problem with a character, A4 in ISO-8859-1 (¤), which I
use in my windows password when I try to connect to our subversion server.
We're running subversion under Apache httpd with SSPI for user authentication
on a Windows 2003 Server. The client is using TortoiseSVN on Windows XP SP2.

Everything works just fine when another username/password is used (without
that particular character).

Exceprt from the Apache error log:
(OS 1326)Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.
: user mydomain\\myuserid: authentication failure for "/myrepo/trunk"

On the server the versions in use are:
Apache httpd - 2.0.54.0
Subversion - 1.2.0.14790

And on the client:
TortoiseSVN 1.2.4, Build 4484 - 32 Bit
Subversion 1.2.3,
apr 0.9.6
apr-iconv 0.9.5
apr-utils 0.9.6
berkeley db 4.3.28
neon 0.24.7
OpenSSL 0.9.8 05 Jul 2005
zlib 1.2.3

I'll change my password as a workaround, but if there's something else I should
try - please tell me.
