We recently converted from CVS to Subversion on a Linux server
(includesTortoiseSVN client as well as some use Eclipse to integrate back
and forth). The last few weeks things have been running fairly smoothly
until a couple of days ago someone moved a few files/directories around
and now most receive an error when trying to commit or
even checkout.......telling them the files are locked. Essentially they
are unable to do anything unless they create an entirely new workspace and
delete the file in question.
I had one person run svn cleanup and it bombed half way through this
effort on the file in question. However I was successfully able to run
this from the trunk. We are running 1.2.0 Subversion and 1.2.1
TortoiseSVN. Any thoughts on how we should proceed?
Thanks,
Sherry
