WC->URL copy: invalid change ordering new node revision ID without delete error

From: Holger Rauch <holger.rauch_at_heitec.de>

Hi!

I did a WC->URL copy with svn 1.1.4 (both client and server, client: Debian
GNU/Linux 3.1 (Sarge), server: FreeBSD 5.4-STABLE) and got the following
error messages:

svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: Invalid change ordering: new node revision ID without delete

Additional info: The working copy was created by checking out a tag and then
certain files were updated to their trunk revisions by using "svn switch" on
them (Syntax: "svn switch <trunk-url> <file-name-inside-wc>"). I did NOT
manually play with any .svn dir contents (some mail suggested that this
could have been the cause)!

My questions:

- Is there any way to get some sort of debug output in order to be able to
tell which file is the culprit?

- How can I get rid of this error? (In case it turns out it's best to
check out the tag again, how can I determine which files have been
  switched to their trunk revisions?
(I don't know all of them by heart ;-) )

Thanks in advance for any help!

Kind regards,

        Holger
