Has your OS X client connected successfully with authentication to any server?

I've downloaded the Metissian package, and authentication works for me
against a https:// URL, but I don't have a handy svn:// URL requiring
authentication to test.

Sorting this out may require stepping through a bit of the code to see
precisely what's up. Do you have the ability to build Subversion
locally and run it under a debugger?
