yes, that's what I meant - not that subversion doesn't have room for
improvement, but an optional server-managed layer on top would allow
people to continue to use SVN any way they like, and help separate out
that which is not defined within the scope of the Subversion project.

There's still a lot to do on Subversion, the implementation of merge
tracking being my personal favourite feature, so let us focus on that
first!
