No really, even though everything is described (and I know that it is), it
didn't have much meaning for me until I saw it in action. It explains why
split the repository into a a trunk/branches/tags, but for someone reading
the book before installing Subversion for the first time, it is like
describing snow to a pygmy.

You know what it is, but you don't understand it. Or maybe it just me ;-)
Anyway, in the end I simply said to myself: "Well, if they are suggesting
it, I'll set it up that way. They obviously must know what they are
talking about.", and aftera day or two I was like "Ahhh!!! So, this is
what it means! It is quite simple."

Understanding the internals is just a bonus.
