1.2 - SVNAutoversioning on windows

Hello dear all,
it's probably a windows question more than svn related but just in case...
Did somebody manage to mount the windows WebFolder as a disk or share point?
I am asking, because I try to use the SVNAutoversioning feature of svn 1.2
but if I just create the web folder, I do not see any way to edit the
file located at this folder.
I *can* copy it out of the fodler, edit and put it back but IIUC this
is not the "sugar" feature.
