"me too" changelog feature?

In another list I'm subscribed to, they are talking
Linus/BitKeeper/alternative version control. One project that came up
was Monotone.

This feature was listed in their most recent changelog:

  - new file "MT/log" can be edited while you work,
sets default changelog. (no change in behaviour if
you do not edit it.) Thanks to Jeremy Cowgar
                   <jeremy@cowgar.com>.

I had to read it twice, but after that I was like "sweet".

Although I think end users should normally stay out of the .svn/
folders, the idea is likable.

Comments?
