The Subversion developers (and supporters) are giving you and me and others
their software free of charge and free of restrictive license. (Thank you
developers for your time and energy and your assistance on this mailing
list.)
If you don't like their software or policies or the fact that they won't
build the software for you, there are other free products you may use. If
none of these suits you (i.e., "as is" and with no warranty of suitability
for a particular purpose), you can hire a consultant to configure and build
Subversion for you. You can install Debian GNU/Linux and the Debian team
will, without charge but without granting you any right to demand more,
build and package Subversion for you (although the latest version in Sid is
1.1.4.) If this still doesn't suit you, you can develop your own software
and by doing this have the right to any legal and achievable demand you
care to make.
The only thing that's crazy is complaining repeatedly that what you're
getting for free is insufficient and demanding still more. Neither you nor
I nor any Subversion user is granted any right to demand anything simply
because we have been granted a license to the software.
Finally, your comments are obviously intended to insult the Subversion
developers and for this you owe them an unqualified apology, which you have
as yet failed to offer.
