hey samay...

i don't know how to test the mod_auth_gforge module... i do have apache
up/running.

i've made some progress, but i still have issues that are causing problems.
i'm fairly certain that the viewcvs.conf is not corectly configured.. and i
don't know enough about the crontab files to create/run them properly. i'm
sure there are other things that need correcting as well....

right now, when i try to access a project that i've created. i get the
following error/response page.
---------------------------------------
---------------------------------------

An Exception Has Occurred

The root "test2" is unknown. If you believe the value is correct, then
please double-check your configuration.

if i could get a copy of your viewcvs.conf file, as well as the relevant
areas of your apache config file i'd be able to see what i'm doing wrong. if
i could also get a copy of your SVN/gforge/apache dir structure, i could
compare what i have....
thanks
bruce
and again, if you give me your number, i'll gladly give you a call...

mate, seen ur other posts, wrt RPM' etc. Try running up a server with ur own
custom build.
Have you been able to test auth with mod_auth_gforge . just on any website
will be fine, not necassairly on SVN VHOST. once u have that working,
setting it up with SVN is pretty simple.
