Such is life on the bleeding edge of open-source software.

If one does not have the time to do it yourself, one must just sit and
wait until a critical mass of interest has been reached for the software
such that someone can be found who has the time to get it done.

Subversion apparently has not yet reached that critical mass, but
considering how extremely useful the software is (well, once 1.2 is
released - a required feature for me was the locking functionality), I
don't suspect it will take long.
