hmm....wow....this could be my first flame (well....sort of...).

How can you sit there and berate ANYONE for the timing of a piece of
software that costs you absolutely _nothing_. If you have a fixed
schedule that you would like to keep, then I suggest you put up or shut
up. From my perspective, these guys are already busting tail to make an
already good product even better. I think they deserve a pat on the
back and a mighty 'Thank You' for having the foresight to see a need and
fill that need.

And for what it's worth - I think it even states somewhere in the
release notice that Subversion does not officially support or distribute
binaries. That if you want one, you can make one.
