Ah, ok. It looks like one way to get what I want is to change the default
revision for log to HEAD. Is there some way to do that? (I can't seem to
find something in The Book on client-side defaults.)

The URL for the repo for this WC is pretty unwieldy. It would be nice to
have some kind of shorthand for "the URL associated with this WC object"
(eg. "URL{.}").
