Status of SCPlugin

Does anyone know the status of the OS X SCPlugin re-write project?

I am deploying subversion for a group of OS X users and the project
pretty much depends on a decent "dumbed-down" OS X GUI for svn.
SCPlugin seems to have the most promise, but has a few bugs. I'm open
to suggestions for alternatives. I tried SvnX. Unfortunately, I don't
think it qualifies as "dumbed-down".

In case anyone knows of a workaround, I'll list my issues with SCPlugin:

* Status icons are out-of-sync with working copy. (Red exclamation
marks don't go away after commit, etc.)

* Every now and then, my finder window will disappear when I
double-click on a folder inside a working copy. I suspect SCPlugin
because I never had the problem before installing it, and I've heard
mention of "general stability issues" with Finder after installing
this plugin.

* "Subversion > Make Directory..." does not work at all for local
directory creation. Just hangs.
