Matlab Compatibility

I'm doing a quickie trade study to select a CM tool for a new organization.
Subversion has some desirable attributes; however, I need to know if it will
seamlessly support Matlab. The Matlab documentation says it can support an
interface that uses the Microsoft Common Source Control standard. Since CVS
does so, one might expect Subversion to follow, but I thought I'd ask before
I make a decision.
