The problem here is Apache, AFAIK, not SubVersion. If your CGI don't work you
get an internal server error as well instead of the real error message (that
gets logged). Maybe it's possible to change Apache's behaviour to send the
error string instead "Internal Server Error" after the (required) "500" ?
