I do not recall a single post from you on the Subclipse mailing lists. How
did you come to this conclusion? Did you try it with Eclipse 3.x?
Development of the 2.x version ceased a long time ago.

In my opinion, Subclipse is extremely close to 1.0 quality. There are a
couple of features we need to finish, but I do not consider them
essential. The biggest problem is that Subclipse needs JavaHL, and many
Linux users seem to have trouble building it themselves and the
distributions generally do not package it.
