Fixed for me. The problem had nothing to do with svn. Between serve and clinet
was a vtund-tunnel (http://vtun.sourceforge.net/), configurend as udp and lzo
compression with encryption. Switching that to tcp an zlib fixed the data
transfer. Still dont know why a ssh connection does't have ttis probelm.
